Pack 846 is pleased to offer the
"Scouting the Web Award" for those Scouts who have demonstrated their ability to
gather information with computers and the Internet about Scouting and the
Cub Scout program. Many of the requirements for this award also qualify for a
significant part of earning the
Cub Scout Academic and Sports Program Computer Belt Loop.
The award is in the form of a 2½" patch as shown to the right. To earn the award, click on the link below. This will open a new window from which you will find many questions related to the Cub Scout program, computers and the internet. Many of the answers can be found in our site and some may require you to search elsewhere on the web.
To receive the award:
Complete the quiz
Click Submit to electronically send the answers to us.
In a few days you will receive a response from us indicating your score.
If you get all the questions correct, you will receive an address to send $3.00 and a self addressed stamped envelope to us.
You'll receive your award patch in a couple weeks.
This award is available for Scouts in the Cub Scout Program or grade level equivalent.
Privacy
None of the information we gather will be utilized except to respond to your submission and send you the award. We never send you unsolicited email nor share these addresses with other parties per our guidelines.
