A LEARNING EXTRAVAGANZA for Cub Scout Leaders! It's an annual get-together, a hands-on workshop, an idea conference, and a convention. It's a day to increase knowledge, improve your skills, and to add to your already enthusiastic attitudes about Cub Scouting. Over 75 courses are offered throughout the day, you choose the ones that you want to participate in.

University of Scouting is a multitude of specialty sessions to help you gain new skills and abilities to become the very best Cub Scout Leader possible. Experienced Cub Scout Leaders from across the Dan Beard Council make up the staff and they are all volunteers, just like you, and they want to help you.

You'll can choose up to 6 classes out of over 75 different ones offered throughout the day as well as visit the Midway and meet lots of other leaders. Each of these experiences will help prepare you to provide a quality program for the boys.

Wear your uniform and bring a notebook, camera and wear comfortable shoes. Some classes will be done outside, so dress appropriately. Bring your smile and plan on having a fun-filled day. Please don't bring your children, this training is for adult leaders.
