Welcome to the Cub Scout Pack 864 web site. Cub Scout Pack 864 is a member of the Sully District, National Capital Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Our pack leadership believes that successful scouting requires:

  • Active pack leaders and committee members who are supported by the parents of the scouts in the pack.
  • Adult leaders willing to provide scouts with skill training, skill practice, and strong leadership mentoring.
  • A program that challenges all the boys… at all skill and age levels.

It is through our den meetings, pack meetings, field trips, and campouts that scouts learn and grow to become leaders. As they do, their responsibilities in the pack expand and they develop self-confidence, become self-reliant, and learn to lead others. This is what we believe the Cub Scouts is all about.

We have many opportunities for your son, the cub scout, and you the parent, to become involved in Pack 864’s program. As a member of our Pack we need you to help us to motivate your son and provide strong, active support to make him a successful Cub Scout.

Please feel free to discuss any part of the Pack’s program with any of our adult leaders. We always welcome your questions and ideas.
